Short description:
Metroid and Castlevania fans will love this game: vast levels with lots of weapon upgrades and spells. Great story and deep characters!
Long description:
Joan Sword is not a casual game, it’s not free2play and not overhyped. Instead we’re making a game that pays tribute to Metroid and Castlevania, a true action RPG game with vast levels that gives you the deep and premium experience of a single player game with full controls and great graphics.
You are Joan Sword. Her clan made a pact long time ago with the most unlikely ally, Death itself (the Grim Reaper). Unlike conventional loot, Jane collects souls from the monsters she defeats to bargain with Death and buy spells and upgrades. Her blade is the source of all her abilities. Jane will split the sword in two to climb walls, swing it fast to glide through the air and many other cool skills.
Intended for mid-core audiences, the game will appeal to the huge Metroidvania fan base and also to casual gamers that look for a deeper but still accessible gameplay experience. We’re working in Unity to port it to Windows, WindowsPhone, PS Vita, Nvidia Shield, OUYA and other mid-core consoles, and iOS/Android with MOGA and similar.

We also plan to sell merchandise at sites like cafepress.com, zazzle.com, redbubble.com and polyvore.com
